| More Info | Most people know that July 4th is Independence Day. This is the day when the Declaration of Independence were signed and adopted. What many people tend to forget is that Independence was voted on two days before on the 2nd. Over the years many people, and the government have also forgotten another principle of that holiday..... We The People..... Our nations was founded to prevent the "ruling" class or party to have control over the lives of its citizens. We were not to be 'subjects' as we were under the crown and Britain. Sadly over the years government has grown, and We the people have lost much of our freedom and Independence that was voted for 235 years ago.
